@JustinCaouette The public in public philosophy refers to anyone that hasn't been trained in academic philosophy. It's about engaging a viewpoint that is unreachable within traditional academia. Twitter only counts if you aren't just engaging with trained academics.

I agree with treating the symptoms, but it is entirely discouraging to see such a restricted view applied everytime we experience tragedy. Treat the symptoms in the short term, but identify cause and treat the cause. This should be our primary concern.

About to fall asleep. Start thinking about why reality exists. What started it existing. What made time exist. What happens when reality itself ends. This inevitably caused existential dread and I needed a comfort shower to reset so I can attempt sleep again. Thanks brain.
