Nobody's Alt
@NotanAlt4real
The first thing you should know is that this is not someone's alt. I am my own person, not just a collection of some dude's questionable opinions and interests.

Nebraska hasn’t produced a Top-50 NFL Draft pick in 15 YEARS 🤯

@yarmulketruther @hawkeyegamefilm If you're wanting to argue, you're talking to the wrong person. We'll see how they do in the fall.
English

@NotanAlt4real @hawkeyegamefilm So they’re running basics and they can’t hit them? The new receiver isn’t gonna magically magnetize the ball 5 feet lower in the air
English

similar basic reps for QB9 here...just a touch off on most throws, couple verts too far to the outside, a deep out off a guys finger times etc...biggest throw of the day was a backside switch verts completion to WR1 which was well under-thrown

@hawkeyegamefilm But, yeah, "it's one practice" is exactly what I'm reminding myself. I don't think either looked great. Hecklinski seemed to throw a lot where the receiver wasn't even aware enough to make an attempt. Brown was just off on some. Receivers had drops.
We'll see in the fall.

Almost 90% of the draft from the Power 4.
Brandon Marcello@bmarcello
The SEC broke its own record with 87 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Big Ten and SEC combined to make up 60.3% of the entire draft. The gap -- even in the power conference structure -- is still wide as the ACC and Big 12 tierd with 38 apiece. More notes below:

@ScottDochterman @TheAthleticCFB (Or something else unsaid, like concerns that they won't be forced to go pro after their senior year, etc.)
English

@ScottDochterman @TheAthleticCFB Unless there's something going unsaid (like those players being less valuable as seniors), it should even out in the next year or two.
Only teams won't be gambling on juniors and sophomores. They'll be taking seniors.
English

NIL has permanently changed how NFL teams and prospects view Day 3 of the draft.
It allows players to return to school for money and development, but it turns the talent pool a bit shallow for NFL teams.

English

@ScottDochterman @TheAthleticCFB If anything, after a couple years of transition, it should lead to more certainty and better developed players in those middle rounds.
English

@ScottDochterman @TheAthleticCFB The issue of less talent in the middle rounds seems like it should only last a few years. Those guys that choose to go back to college aren't falling off the face of the earth. So, there's not less overall talent coming through the sport. They'll go pro a year or two later.

@DavidEickholt Hank Brown improvising in the pocket and throwing a dart on the run, too.
English

@bigku82 @DDafney24 But, in choosing that target, it makes the exact wrong point.
English

@bigku82 @DDafney24 Basically, they wanted to come down hard on someone for tampering, but didn't want to get sued, yet again, by a school and state. So, they took the opportunity to blow an impermissible contact by a school that accepts their authority out of proportion to make their point.
