One of the most magical days ever at Happy Doggo Land. Nothing will prepare you for the emotional ending and the sheer joy of it all. Amazing that one little dog like Sonny could bring so many humans together like this for something so magical ❤️

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you

They loved Him when He healed the blind… They cheered when He fed the thousands… But when the cross touched His back— the crowd went quiet. No applause. No miracles. Just suffering… and a road no one wanted. And still—He kept walking. Not for the nails. Not for the blood. Not for the ones who turned away. He carried it anyway. For them. For you. For me. So ask yourself— When life gets heavy… when faith gets tested… when following Him costs you everything… Do you stay? Or do you fade with the crowd? Because real faith doesn’t flinch. It doesn’t run. The logic of grace doesn’t follow the logic of the world. When things go well, I think God for His blessings. When they don’t, I thank God for standing with me in my times of trial. Always thanking God is the logic of grace.

I drank deeply from the cup of science, and saw the face of God. I dove down into the sea of history, and there was Jesus Christ. I studied the wisdom of my soul, and met the Holy Spirit. Knowledge brings faith, and the wise know God.

Years ago, I was on the road that ultimately led to the destruction of myself and my family. There is an alternate reality where I am sitting alone in an apartment drinking right now while some other man raises my sons. I don’t feel like I’m being hyperbolic. Life had broken me in real ways and I didn’t know how to fix it. And I tried *everything* modern society had to offer. I still remember the day I broke down. Just rock bottom. Literally on my knees, finally humbled enough to pray again. Though I didn’t realize it at the time, that one moment would be the catalyst for one of the greatest comeback stories. Not because I did anything. I failed to do anything on my own. But because God knew that the only way to get me to look up at Him was to put me on my back. Jesus saved my life, man. He changed the entire trajectory of my bloodline. My oldest son is baptized and on fire for the Lord. My youngest is on the way. They live in a home where they see their mom and dad love each other. All because Jesus left the 99 to come find the one lost prodigal. If you feel like you’re at rock bottom, it might be because that’s exactly where God needs you to be before He works a miracle in your life. Just look up.

The Bible stands alone. Written across centuries, yet perfectly unified. It exposes the human heart with precision and reveals the only true Savior. Empires rise and fall. Opinions change. God’s Word does not. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word will stand forever (Matthew 24:35).

In the Garden of Eden He did not merely walk by. He walked with. That is what was lost. Not comfort, not beauty, not ease, but fellowship with God. “They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day” (Genesis 3:8). Sin did not just bring pain into the world. It broke that nearness. What was once open became hidden. What was once communion became separation. “Your iniquities have made a separation between us and your God” (Isaiah 59:2). That is why the gospel is not first about restoring our circumstances, but restoring our relationship with God. Christ did not come to give us back Eden’s environment. He came to bring us back to God Himself. “For Christ also died for sins once for all… so that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18). So what we lost was not the garden. It was God. And what is restored in Christ is not just a place, but His presence.
