TLDSB joins the nation in mourning the loss of the Honourable Murray Sinclair, an Anishinaabe Leader, judge, senator, and Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission whose contributions to justice and reconciliation in Canada were immense.

On the passing of The Hon. Murray Sinclair, former senator, judge and Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission we extend our prayers and expressions of deep respect for a life well-lived in service to others. #onted #trc

We are extremely saddened to hear of the loss of The Honourable Murray Sinclair, who we were honoured to hear speak at the OPSBA-hosted @cdnsba Indigenous Trustee Gathering in Niagara Falls in 2014. "Education got us into this mess and education will get us out of it."
