i found some @Eddie_Brill stuff on a decaying VHS taped from the early days of channel 5, but the entire thing was cut into tiny bits of loads of different comedians' sets. The bits on the rules of the english language were fantastic - i'd love to hear/see the full bit

@airchecks @BBCR1 i remember one popping up that had a message about a "commercial service starting soon" and the backing track from the BBC jingle without the vocal on it. the instrumental jingle feld properly weird listening to at the time

@jerseyjoegotch @JoshLBarnett oh, and for the record, when i first watched a bloodsport, I had zero idea who Slade, Kratos, ninja ken, or a bunch of the others on the shows were. i became a fan by watching them and them getting the chance to perform on a big stage, not by kicking off on twitter.

@OTHRad & BTW this is another reason why wrestling isn’t more successful. The job of a wrestler is to convert every potential fan into a paying fan & I am now less likely to watch #Bloodsport b/c the wrestlers @JoshLBarnett booked don’t seem interested in promoting their own #GCW event.

anybody know if the narrowing of the shared use foot/cycle path is finished on the high level bridge? just with the tyne bridge about to be banjoed i'm planning routes and there's nowhere at all to find this stuff out. #newcastle #tyneside #noinfo
