I see a lot of people saying there are 35,000 to 36,000 US troops in Germany.
But that is active duty troops only.
If you count rotational troops and US civilian contractors, it is well over 55,000 Americans...too many for todayโs threats and todayโs tactics to combat these threats.
We must modernize.
