So when an ovarian cyst shows up on the imaging that no one ordered but Danielle Smith is encouraging and enabling, will she be meeting with the patient to discuss the management options?

@FionaMattatall They really don’t understand how it all goes together, do they? And it’s constant. For example: Pt pays for private knee replacement bc they can’t wait but oh no, post op infection. Comes to the public ED and admitted to the public hospital for numerous, costly interventions.

Yes, young people get more cancer than before, for various reasons. But: the COVID vaccine - or any vaccine for that matter - is none of those. As you can see in the graph below, we’ve seen substantially more cases of young people with cancer in 2019 than in 2010. As the vaccine can’t time travel, this is an observation that has been going on for many years before. Yet: the absolute cancer risk today for someone younger than 50 is still very low (< 0.01%), so don’t get scared by these sensational headlines and these stories, most of which won’t even be true. Get your screenings done and ignore people like him, he doesn’t know what he is talking about anyway.

As a Albertan/Canadian, I am appalled by the UCP's attempt to gerrymander provincial ridings. If they proceed, I expect quick legal action from opposition politicians in the province, and the federal government of Canada. Step up and support the rights of Albertans.

Each time Alberta has established an Electoral Boundaries Commission to redraw election maps the government has accepted the commission’s majority report, so I was surprised and disappointed to learn that a committee of MLAs has instead been tasked with creating a new map. /1
