A4) Breaking down student’s barrier to learning and content is the power behind #UDL. If I was a student I think being able to choose my own way to learn, way to engage with work and way to present my learning would make me feel more involved in my learning #UDLchatIE

@OideSarah @magsflood I honestly found completing the #UDL Badge with @ddletb last year an interesting experience and milestone in my journey. Sitting down and stripping back lessons to meet a specific guideline made me reevaluate how both I and my students regard content #UDLchatIE

A1) Initially, it was a school move but I really saw the value #UDL could offer my students and me as a teacher. I was already doing it! It wasn’t extra work #UDLchatIE

A3) I think each principal is valuable in its own way, you can’t have one without the other 2. They are interwoven. I do think engagent is the solid foundation to build #UDL practices into your lessons. #UDLchatIE

A2) Giving students a choice and authority over their work. This guideline really stood out to me. I have always tried to include #studentvoice in my classroom. Giving students the freedom to choose activities to represent their learning has been revolutionary #UDLchatIE .
