Liquidity Matters. Recently @pumpkindotfun made some updates to token launches with the following goals: - increase liquidity at LP creation - reduce slippage - "thicken" liquidity, improving liquidity to market cap ratio It has been an absolute success. Look at the difference in liquidity between EXOTIC (launched on Pumpkin), and DAWG (launched on Pumpfun). EXOTIC has over $20k more liquidity than DAWG, despite DAWG having ~$20k higher market cap. This liquidity/market cap ratio still allows tokens to run, but in a more balanced manner. Pumpkin.fun is building and improving every single day. Once volume arrives, things will happen swiftly. 🎃

A quick update on a few of the things the team has been working on in the week since the launch of @pumpkindotfun: - Greatly improved load times in the main token feed. (We are looking to improve speed further in the days ahead.) - Fixed an issue where some filters in the main feed were behaving in unexpected ways, or not functioning properly. - Fixed an issue where price feed would stop updating on a token page. - Fixed delay in token price updating as trading continued post graduation. - Increased Dev Buy limit. (While the intention for limiting the dev buy was good, it ended up making it difficult for some projects to acquire the necessary supply for their tokenomics. We are listening to you guys!) - Added "My Staked Tokens" filter. (A much needed quality of life update for users.) - Launched $PKIN staking. (Enabling $PKIN holders to receive a share of protocol fees from all tokens launched on Pumpkin.fun. In just a single week we already have over 32% of the total supply staked. (app.pumpkin.fun/stake)) - Burned over 65M $PKIN. (x.com/pumpkindotfun/…) - (Adding a note that we are aware of the load issues when trying to access the site through the Phantom Browser on mobile. We are in contact with their team on this, and our devs are looking into it as well - it seems to only be affecting mobile users on Android. I'll keep you guys updated on this.) Additionally, earlier this week the team identified a way to further reduce slippage and improve liquidity depth on token launches. We have focused efforts on completing this upgrade, and expect it to be live in the next few days. On top of this we had development for the advanced trading view commence, with advanced filtering and quick buy options for tokens on the platform. We have milestones, livestreaming, and plugins coming up as well. I have personally been meeting with developers, creators, and potential partners every single day, while also working on key strategies to expand Pumpkin's reach. More to come on this soon. Here's the thing guys, it will only take one or two big launches on Pumpkin for creators/devs to realize what they are missing out on by launching their tokens elsewhere. Once this happens volume will increase rapidly. We knew coming into this that gaining significant market share and trading volume was not going to be handed to us - it's something we have to work for and truly earn. The team is committed to making that happen. I truly believe in this platform, and in the team that @pumpkin_zack has built.
