So the reason artreccs is saying this is a scam is because it's actually more exploited labor than a typical art scam. For example, I have no proof this account is for sure one but it lines up with a lot of the common identifiers of the art accounts that are the "scam" ones. there are a ton of "artists" who are actually just middle men based out of specifically indonesia. They have other artists, typically younger teenagers doing the work for a few dollars while the one behind the art account just forces the teens to do the art, for way less than minimum wage, typically for just a few dollars, and makes them work hella long hours.... while the "artist" takes the rest, normally taking over 80%. So you get the art, just not in anywhere near of an ethical way since the other teenage artists behind the account are forced into silence and not being able to have accounts of their own through a hella scummy nda. Again, I have no proof this account is one but it's a new account on twitter (a little over a year old), specifically doing the eye banners which is a big type of commission in the scam, from Indonesia, new on vgen rushing to get verified and the art is cheaper than most would charge with inconsistent styles that line up to possibly multiple people behind the work. With all this I think it's fair to be cautious of working with this artist.
