Dr Stephanie Dowrick Joins calls for PEACE
It’s called ecocide. The perpetrators are barbarians. What possesses our world that one small nation - albeit nuclear armed and 8th biggest weapons exporter - is permitted to terrorise all neighbours & hold the entire world to ransom? While pretending to be “religious”??

Scenes of Israeli settlers destroying Palestinian olive groves in the West Bank, which are one of the most important sources of livelihood for Palestinians and a symbol of their steadfastness on the land.

Imagine having listened to all those Israeli pundits and influencers and ex officials gaslight you for two years plus on TV and online and then hear what actual Israeli soldiers openly admit to having done in Gaza. Naked undisguised war crimes.

IDF soldiers recount using Palestinians as human shields, killing aid seekers, firing a tank shell at a man doing laundry. “The brigade rabbi sat down and spent half an hour explaining [...] that we must take revenge on all of them, including civilians." theguardian.com/world/2025/nov…

The idea the BBC has an anti-Israel bias is the *exact opposite* of the truth. Read this thread. The facts are incontrovertible. The BBC's pro-Israel bias is overwhelming - as the statistics show. Again: Israel's cheerleaders want to turn the world on its head.
William Dalrymple@DalrympleWill

There has been a lot of talk about BBC bias today. Its a good moment to remember the BBC Gaza Report @cfmmuk by the Centre for Media Monitoring, just to remind ourselves of the scandalous bias against Palestine @BBCNews in the face of the Gaza Genocide share.google/rzQVhvigAoqQ3L…

The future of Palestine belongs to the Palestinians. Intl law says it. The ICJ reaffirmed it. Now: States must cut ties with Apartheid Israel. Companies > divest. Universities > disengage. Citizens > stop buying its products/services. Alternatives exist. Justice means freedom.

That TikTok lady calling all those churches asking for baby formula and recording them telling her to go fuck herself destroyed pretty much every argument for American conservatism.

Israel has been holding the body of Anis Dawla, a Palestinian who died on hunger strike in an Israeli prison in 1980, for 45 years, despite his family pleading for it to be returned. Israel currently holds hundreds of bodies of deceased Palestinians but no one talks about that.
Fox News@FoxNews

FINALLY HOME: Hamas has handed over remains believed to be those of Hadar Goldin, an Israeli soldier killed in 2014 whose body was held as a bargaining chip for more than 4,000 days, Israel said Sunday.

What is the point of these posts? She refuses to name the state responsible for blocking the aid - Israel. That shows she is refusing to put any public pressure on the UK's ally, Israel, as it continues to deprive the Palestinian people of food and life's essentials.
Yvette Cooper@YvetteCooperMP

In Jordan last week I saw warehouses full of aid still waiting to get into Gaza even though families are still going hungry. All aid routes must be opened and aid restrictions lifted now.

NEW YORK TIMES IN HOT WATER 🗞️ Ms. Rachel cancels NYT subscription over biased news coverage on Gaza A leaked internal memo from The New York Times revealed that editors instructed journalists covering Gaza to avoid or strictly limit certain words and phrases. Words like "slaughter, "massacre," and "carnage" were among those flagged. The document also advised journalists to avoid terms such as "genocide," "ethnic cleansing," "occupied territory," and "Palestine," except in narrow legal or historical contexts. It discouraged describing Gaza's "refugee camps" as such, suggesting they be referred to as neighborhoods instead.

Please, please… speak about the people living in tents now. Winter is approaching fast, and the tents are torn and worn out they offer no protection from the rain or cold. Hundreds of thousands of families here have no real shelter, living in fragile tents or in homes that could collapse at any moment. The world has started to move on, as if the war is over… but believe me, what we’re living through now is a nightmare even worse than the war itself. We are surrounded by cold, hunger, and fear… and no one hears us. Please, don’t let our voices be lost in this silence.
