More & more I am convinced these people do not watch Star Trek. They remember it from childhood. This era doesn't feel the same (because it can't) & they can't process it. They feel some hurt that doesn't exist anywhere but in their mind & they lash out on a keyboard and mic

@pottersquash @AndyFurnival2 This is the problem with comparing Trek projects and eras. TV landscape is completely different than 10 years ago, much more so than 30+ years ago.
Current Trek creatives are fans of Trek, whether Jeremy agrees are not. He clearly isn't paying attention.

Well this popped off more than expected. The blue checks are pissed, the bots are pissed, & those who legit hold this opinion & think it objective because its all they see on their cultivated social media feeds are pissed. And they all missed the point, but welcome to disagree.

@engadget Iโm a life long Trek fan and I agree. Any praise for this show unleashes the trolls but the show is great and has indeed had the best first season. Plenty of nitpicks and criticisms but the online hate is overstressed and lack good faith arguments most of the time.
