Computer languages that tend to gravitate their text to the left as opposed to deeply nest things to the right are more pleasing to the eye and easier to understand in my opinion. Or maybe this is just style? What's your take?

Writing a low level metal renderer in C/C++ and listening to Ride the Lightning, just like 30 years ago when I was in my teens. Only difference is that back then it was OpenGL, and 6 am was a late night, not an early morning.

@MarkBozon Wow, that’s impressive! Yeah it’s such a great game. And it looks so good! Combining 2D gameplay with fantastic 3D backgrounds. It would be interesting to see a game like this in XR where XR is purely to enhance the visuals, not part of the gameplay.

@BartronPolygon I’ve done some basic experiments with it but not tried to cancel out the gravity. It is PhysX behind the scenes, if that helps. Are there other ways to achieve what you want to do, like disabling gravity altogether?

Has anyone successfully used RealityKit's physics system? Trying to counter-act gravity on an entity loaded from Reality Composer (with physics body and motion components) and it just doesn't work. It looks like it's applied for a few frames initially, then gravity overpowers.

@MaxBize It looks like the camera is looking some way along the forward vector of the car. This gives a lot of sideways motion when the car turns. What would happen if the camera is going along a path that follows the track instead?

Saw this question somewhere.... found it interesting. "What is the first IDE you remember using?" And this doesn't include command line BASIC that computers used, but actual programs you loaded up and used. Mine would have been Zeus assembler on the C64. How about you?

There are days in my programming life where I feel so old and can't understand how "this kind of mess" can in any way be considered "good design" or well written... the only thing I can see is complexity!
