2026 is the #NationalYearOfReading so we're joining in with the national campaign to encourage people back to reading. 📚 We've made a display of shorter books, all under 200 pages, and each book has a simple label with 3 words to help people find a book to suit them.

The Orkney Women Doctors Research Group will be holding an event at Orkney Library & Archive THIS Saturday (21st March). There will be a display of artefacts and archival material relating to early women doctors and their lives. It's FREE to attend so drop in between 11am & 3pm.
