@briff_c I believe show was praising Rudy's recovery, not sex with Roxy. It is ambiguous for a reason, but I interpreted it as "he get out of the pit of deapair" the same as in season 1 ending. If you can, pleasegive an example where show tries to glorify cheating in itself.

No. El problema del Roxytruco es que el anime APRUEBA lo que hizo Roxy. Sí, lo aprueba. Por mucho que lo intenten negar. Hay algo que se llama axiología narrativa. Una obra tiene valores que premia o promueve y antivalores que condena o rechaza, basándose en un juicio moral. Roxy abusa de Rudy, la serie misma te dice que lo hizo para aprovecharse de él y Roxy se siente culpable, pero el anime premia el Roxytruco volviéndola la esposa de Rudy. Incluso Norn, que es la única que condena a Roxy además de ella misma (siempre lo hace, tiene baja autoestima) es reprobada y humillada. Norn, que critica a Roxy, es mandada a callar y retratada como una hipócrita por decir la verdad. Incluso la OST, dirección y diálogos apuntan al discurso de "Roxy salvó a Rudeus" (dicho tal cual) y así concluye la escena, enfocando la nueva familia con optimismo hacia el futuro por seguir avanzando. Norn encarna los antivalores. Así que sí, Mushoku Tensei anime APRUEBA y PREMIA el abuso y la infidelidad. Así es. El problema es que los haters (no lo digo por el del citado, este a menos expone un punto coherente) no tienen idea de lo que hablan y critican la simple inmoralidad, cuado ser inmoral no es estar mal escrito. Está mal escrito porque el anime aprueba esa inmoralidad forzando la simpatía y traicionando la escala de simpatía por ello.

@sytherinfinite @Wassimouu Here's hoping, really. Been waiting for 13 years, so i will stich to the end no matter what, but man arc 9 made me bitter. I knew from the moment Rem got her memories back it will be a great loop, Tappei is predictable as hell. And after that I also knew Roy will be a dead end

@Ortoros3 @Wassimouu 1. Theres still 3 arcs that he can reveal these mysteries, he doesn’t have to wait until the last one 2. We dont know how long it’ll be, we know for a fact that the last arc will be the longest and even then arcs 10 and 11 could also be very long.

@PredationLewdsA @Wassimouu I quite often like to read long stories, such as "The Black Company" or "The Kingkiller Chronicles"(i still believe sir Patrick will finish it one day) I am yet to see the same negligence towards character plot story for that long though.

@Ortoros3 @Wassimouu I actually disagree on the death part. Tappei has been clear about writing a happy ending. That's why the torture blender. It is payment up front. As I said earlier, writing speed is a valid complaint. Though most 10ish books series do take 15 or so years to write, at minimum.

@PredationLewdsA @Wassimouu I agree abolutely. Moreover, I believed she must die for the story to progress. But not a single story holds a character hostage for 13 years and counting. She lost her memories in 2013. There are some plots that should be finished by now and are unnecessary dragged.

@Ortoros3 @Wassimouu There are plenty of threads that have started to be revealed, in every single Arc. Major resolution doesn't come till the end. Subaru needed Rem's absence as motivation, just as Rem needed major time w/o memories to not be shackled by idol wosrhsip, or she'd never have agency.

@sytherinfinite @Wassimouu I haven't encountered any other story that tends to unfinish 20+ plot points for more than a decade for the purpose of finishing all of it in one arc. Maybe it's not only Re:Zero, but because I am passionate about this story, it feels especially bad here.

@Sunakku7 @Wassimouu I am up to date with Re:Zero, up untill last chapter of arc 10. Frederica, Pandora, Omega, Shaula, Flugel, Satella, Puck, Elior, Rem, Ram, RbD, Spica, Mad Prince, Rigel, I can go on with unresolved plots for a long time. Tappei is an awesome writer, but he has a big flaw.

@PredationLewdsA @Wassimouu Timeloop stories stert opening secrets early or in the middle, such as steins gate. As an example with Rem, dragging a single plot with "Sorry Subaru, her memories are in another castle" for 10 consecutive years is not a "formula work at its core". Nobody does that.

Criticize the writing speed if you want but the goal's been laid out from the start. It's how both timeloop & forbidden love genre formulas work at their core.

@Wassimouu I agree But right now i cannot comprehend how clamping all secrets and expected events can be done tastefully I feel bitter with each passing arc waiting for resolve i never get, and if it all will be resolved in literally last chapters, there will be no satisfaction for me.

@TowerVoices Gluttony's Power, Od Lagna and The Books of the Dead are all connected. The reason Subaru only loses memories from this world are because those are the ones recorded in Od Lagna. All of Rem's connection to Od Lagna was severed so therefore her book was too. She never existed.

These Re:Zero episodes are better than every Season 4 episode. Season 2 is overhated because of its COVID-affected adaptation, but Arc 4 is on par with Arc 6, if not better.

@jay4miyu @Fena205 If sasuga moments can lure him into watching story seriously, why not? This is the main difference between healthy and obsessed approach. I would like for people to know my beloved story, even if it's for the "wrong reasons" A lot of you guys would rather insult and gatekeep.

No offense, but if someone skipped a season of your work, said they didn’t care about the story or plot, and asked for a quick recap of another season just to watch the well-animated moments, you wouldn’t be as considerate or nice, would you?
