My friend told me something shocking… He said that anyone who survives Gaza and goes abroad, even with advanced medical tests, discovers cancer in their body. The number is staggering, countless people, and every day new strange diseases appear… Here in Gaza, these rare illnesses, never seen by doctors before, keep emerging without explanation, with no proper testing equipment and no treatment available. How is this even possible? How can we live amid the destruction and siege, watching our bodies deteriorate with no way to understand or confront the damage? Here, we have no tests, no treatment, as if we are living experiments left to collapse. The weapons dropped on us do not just kill immediately they leave survivors suffering for life. Advanced missiles, destructive munitions, everything is used against us without mercy, as if our lives mean nothing. Those who survive the bombing… will never truly survive the diseases that follow. It is truly shocking and bewildering… We are in the largest human testing ground on Earth. Children grow up amid fear and pain, our bodies break down relentlessly, and the whole world ignores us as if we don’t exist. Each day, our sense of helplessness grows, and every day brings a new shock at the scale of the damage that is almost impossible to believe.

The screams of Palestinians being burnt alive by Israel. There is no moral difference between putting people in gas chambers and burning people in safe zones inside homes. A holocaust is happening right before our eyes and the world is silent.

The United States has just bombed Iran power plants, leaving hospitals and homes without electricity for millions of people. Thinking about dialysis patients, babies in NICU, and others. People will die. Innocent children will die. This is a crime against humanity.

“There are bad Grateful Dead shows. There are good Grateful Dead shows. There are certainly plenty of great Grateful Dead shows. And then there are shows like 3/22/90." — Dave Goodwich, Glide Magazine Fans packed Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada for two nights in March, culminating on this day in 1990. The band played roughly 23 times up in the Great White North, with their last four appearances occurring at this venue. This show proved to be a knockout from start to finish, highlighted by a standout "Scarlet Begonias > Fire on the Mountain" to open the second set, and a farewell encore of Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. The last few years have exposed a critical reality about American tech oligarchs: They are not merely greedy opportunists seeking profit. Many are dangerous, out-of-touch extremists who possess massive, unchecked power and absolutely no capacity for introspection

Tether, a stablecoin company in El Salvador that has never completed an audit — holds a lien on ALL assets of Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s family, including the controlling stake in a Federal Reserve primary dealer. Lutnick shaped the law that lets Tether fund the Pentagon. A masterpiece of regulatory capture and custodial arbitrage. Epstein Files meet the financial files. American tech oligarchs are universally despised, and rightly so. By constantly demonstrating that they will burn down society just to add another zero to their net worth, they have become the single best advertisement against unregulated capitalism

The realignment of global oil trade from USD to CNY is going to happen much faster than anyone expects. Why? Risk management and self-interest align with CNY use. CNY is kept stable in relation to USD within managed bands by PBoC. 60+ central banks have CNY swap lines from PBoC for assured liquidity, collateralised in their own currencies. CIPS payments between 11,000 banks globally cannot be disrupted by US sanctions or Swift. And the whole world, ex-Epstein Class, detests US bullying and endless harassment, regime change, and wars.

So far, over 20 countries have reached out to Iran to align with its new framework for managing the Strait of Hormuz. If, as previously reported, Iran moves to make the yuan the basis for its transactions, something important is unfolding - a new global equation is taking shape.

In a discussion with @michaeljswalker on Friday, I said that Trump was being presented options to strike civilian infrastructure in Iran. The aim would be to cripple Iran’s economy and to make it harder for Iran to persist in the war. I explained that hitting Iran’s critical infrastructure might shorten the war, but it would also intensify it. For that reason, that overall damage done to region and the global economy could end up being far worse during a shorter war. If Trump hits a major power plant, Iran will respond by hitting utilities in the Gulf states and Israel—including power plants and desalination facilities—and will count on the fact that it has to hit fewer targets to have a bigger impact. Iran has nearly 500 power plants, Israel has around 50. The largest Iranian plant, the Damavand Combined Cycle plant, accounts for about 4% of Iran’s total capacity. Israel’s largest plant, Orot Rabin, accounts for 20% of electricity production. The fact that a US president is posting a message like this on social media represents a total breakdown in the systems that are meant to ensure the US fights wars intelligently and judiciously. The commander in chief is not of sound mind, no one in his cabinet is willing to admit it, and we are being pushed towards the edge of an abyss.
