Tackling Substance Misuse is a Divisional Priority so today #Dumfries Community Officers were out on patrol targeting those involved in drug misuse. One female was subjected to a targeted stop search & was found with suspected controlled drugs. #KeepingDumfriesSafe

The A75 has reopened between Springholm and Crocketford following a one-vehicle crash reported to police around 4.50pm on Wednesday, 18 March, 2026. There were no reported injuries. Motorists are thanked for their patience.

#Dumfries Community Officers have been out on quad bike patrol today. We have been carrying out targeted top searches during which we recovered heroin from a 39 year old woman & stolen property from a 44 year old woman. Both will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
