@Shpeshal_Nick I mean Cyberpunk 2.0 is already better than GTA, IMO. Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2 will also just be a lot better.

I’m pretty sure if you gave almost any other decent developer an unlimited budget, unlimited time and unlimited resources they’d make a game that’s better than GTA

I worry this pursuit of path tracing for next gen consoles won't be doing us any favours Path tracing is incredible when the hardware can pull it off. But I doubt it will be worth the inevitable compromises We don't even have native 4K60 in the current gen

I just struggle to wrap my head around someone knowingly accepting a role to "sunset" a product line that has been around for a very long time. That P&L also contains 22000 ish employees that would inevitably be drastically reduced as a result. That is tough to list on a resume for your "next step." Unless Satya has said this is what I want done, and here is what you get by doing this. Then if you are her you hope that Satya is in his position for a very long time, or has set up contingencies for you after his departure.
