@padlet I have an idea! How about a chat box that can be opened in real time when people are working collaboratively, but separately on the same sandbox card!

History is full of people who couldn't collaborate with each other. Your students don't have that excuse.

@MsInnerfield Would love to see the template! About Sandbox: starting June 30th, free accounts will be limited to a total of 3 (including Sandboxes), and those above the quota will be frozen. Users with memberships will not be impacted.- Juliana

I created a @Padlet Sandbox Template today! I just finished making a copy for each of my students to use for their End of Year Project. Question for @Padlet ... What will happen to all of my Sandboxes after June 30th when they are no longer Unlimited?

Tip 22: #edtechforlittlelearners When using @Padlet Sandbox with multiple little learners (or big learners), create a place for them to put their mouse when they have finished. We call ours "Home Base".

Afraid of students getting rowdy online? Don’t worry: Padlet catches inappropriate content before anyone can see it. If something improper gets posted, Safety Net catches it and flags it for you to approve or reject. Just make sure your padlet is set to 'Auto Moderation'. Want more control? Change settings to 'Manual Moderation'.  This way, all posts are submitted for review.  You can review and approve every post before it goes live.

Padlet auto-translates posts into over 45 languages so students and parents read in theirs and you read in yours. This is how to do it in 3 clicks: 1) Go to your padlet board and click on (...) at the top right bar. 2) Click on 'Language'. 3) Choose the language you'd like to view the collaborations in. Done! Same board, no language barrier.

Hi Meryl! We've got you covered 🎉 We made a sandbox example designed specifically for younger students: padlet.com/padlets/my-fir… To use it with your class, remake it and then either: - Duplicate the cards for each student, or - Share an auto-remake link so students with Padlet accounts can each work on their own copy! Let us know if you have any questions about it. - Julia

I love using @padlet with my first graders, and want to introduce them to sandbox. I can’t find any “how to sandbox” examples that are actually IN sandbox so they can practice. At this age you need to model and practice EVERYTHING. Anyone have a how to? If not I’ll just write one.
