Not many teams would say this publicly.
Most would double down on incentives, fake momentum, and force growth.
But this kind of awareness?
This is what separates builders from noise.
This is the right move.
Most projects try to force growth with incentives when the real issue is the experience itself.
But here’s the missing layer:
Features don’t build communities.
People + identity + shared direction do.
If Howdy becomes the best tool, that’s step one.
If it becomes the place where communities actually feel alive, that’s when it wins.

Quick update on community coins on Howdy: The first promo ended and no one hit the 100 member requirement in time, so there were no winners. Not many projects seriously went for it, and that gave us useful signal.
