It’s genuinely so sad to me that Ireland is included in this list. Those of us who have spoken openly about antisemitism in Ireland on this platform have been accused of ‘smearing’ our country, when in reality the deranged, abusive, and often highly conspiratorial online conduct of many Irish people on this site speaks for itself. In addition to the frighteningly aggressive defensiveness that they express whenever you dare to acknowledge the problem.
Frankly, our commentary was not even needed. Ireland would have had this reputation equally regardless, indeed countless people have contacted me to say that I have given them hope for Ireland in this regard.
