@Hey_im_cloud @smokesthegiant That isn’t the same thing. Awareness and Raw Speed are different. For example, if that same attack coming at Korra were to come at Aang, Aang would likely be obliterated. He isn’t fast enough. If Korra was put in Ozai’s lightning feat, she’d get hit. She isn’t aware enough.

Even after being knocked down, she got back up. She found a solution and used it to be stronger against an opponent stronger than any of Aang’s villains.

Every fight after her first fight she took on hordes of them and won consistently. She adapted. With Unavaatu, she was defeated at first, then adapted by using her spirit to fight.

@Hey_im_cloud @smokesthegiant The point isn’t the awareness, it’s the speed. Aang has better awareness than Korra, that’s a no brainer. But Korra’s reaction speed is far faster. Each has an upside, but in reference to this specific situation of pure reaction speed, Korra has Aang beat.

Plus, her speed feat is during the series finale, it’s her final amazing feat of both speed and power. She’s not perfect but she made up for it

The same cannot be said for Aang, who’s fastest reaction speed feat is reacting to Ozai’s lightning, far slower than the Spirit Light Beam. Aang is slower than her by far, and Tagah was around the same speed by EOM. Korra Speedblitz
