@TheTulantro TLDR without diving too deep into cog neuro: The human brain cannot “multitask” like a CPU can, it’s biology impossible. It can receive multiple pieces of information at a time (perception of our senses), but it can only “process” one piece of that at any given time.

The correct answer: overclock it Adding more cores would increase the brain's capacity for multitasking and parallel processing but does not enhance the speed of completing a single task. To maximize your cognitive performance, you must prioritize efficiency > bandwidth.

@iiKlemm I’d add as many cores as I can, and then overclock. But if I am to imagine my brain is a CPU, I can’t just simply add more cores, so overclocking is what I’ll do. And overclocking obviously wouldn’t just be feeding it more power (adrenaline, from caffeine I guess in this case)

Thought experiment🧠 Imagine your brain is a CPU and your goal is to maximize its performance. You can either overclock it or add more cores — which would you choose & why? (p.s. there is a right answer)

@oAiirbus @ParagonTweaks @Jurnin @Keytonnbtw Mega transfers per second. Can just think of it the same as MHz. So 3600MHz RAM will show as 3600MT/s. You can deep dive into the difference, it’s largely unimportant
