Never use @PebbleHosts they gave away a server and is barley doing anything to help. They did this without anyone’s knowledge and it’s just horrible. So many people enjoyed this server and now that enjoyment is gone

@Koainthewild If the bill payer/owner opens a ticket we can take a look, as mentioned we keep backups of all servers.

@Raeminer35 Hi, Please have the owner/bill payer open a ticket and we can provide assistance, we keep backups of all terminated servers (such as for non-payment). Additionally, we do not "give away" servers, the only reason the server would have been terminated is if it was not paid for.

@PebbleHosts Me and my friends have done everything on that server, we loved that server, we did everything on it, we planned out lore, roleplays, fights, and so much more. We want a backup for our server or a fucking response.

@kai_oosaki @sanY_van_Fox @BardicRJ Hi, Indeed. We send out 3 overdue notices alongside 2 reminders, additionally the service would have been suspended once it passed the due date. This would have meant the server would have been offline, further giving reason to login and check for overdue invoices.

@PebbleHosts @sanY_van_Fox @BardicRJ Did you notice them of the server's status or the situation demanding them to recover those backups before 7 days?

Yeah, fuck @PebbleHosts Telling me they automatically take payment and then when I'm live for 169 they lapse the account and even though I was paying for Backups they "don't have them anymore" even though it's been a WEEK. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Awful customer service.

@BardicRJ We simply take a backup of your server, if there's nothing in it then we can only take an empty backup. We have a TCPShield.jar file, which is in the recycle bin - this may indicate that all files had been deleted and moved there before termination, but that's only an assumption.

@PebbleHosts If your backups work, then why are they empty? I was live when people mentioned the server went down so was unable to fix the issue. But the server data was not empty. So why no backup?

@BardicRJ The service was suspended on the 24th and subsequently terminated on the 28th. Backups then continue for 14 days after service termination (to ensure the highly redundant backups continue for a brief period after termination). After this point no new backups are created.

@PebbleHosts So, the responses I got weren't telling the truth with me and making another assumption instead of actually investigating? If the server was taken down before the 2nd, why are you still taking backups of a sever you deleted meaning nothing is there? Making them pointless.

@sanY_van_Fox @BardicRJ Unfortunately if they don't request / download one of their prior backups within the 7 days timeframe that the backups are kept for, then it is overwritten with new backups.

@sanY_van_Fox @BardicRJ Hi, Please see our reply to the original tweet regarding backups. We take data security seriously here and have a system of backup nodes in several redundant locations with multiple providers.
