I was not in support of this change and I believe that the City is best positioned to collect recycling with our infrastructure 24/7 call line at 311. That said, I will continue to work for the best possible service for residents of Toronto.

After days of waiting, our recycling in Humber-River Black Creek was finally collected. Hundreds of residents contacted my office and up to 10,000 households were affected by Circular Materials missed pick up.

Ring in 2026 with a dazzling display of fireworks and fun activities along Toronto’s waterfront! The celebration kicks off on December 31 at 10 pm!

December 6th is National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. 14 women were killed by an act of violent misogyny at Ecole Polytechnique in the name of "fighting feminism." Today, we honour them and commit to building a world where this violence is unthinkable.

I joined @MayorOliviaChow for a visit to @WestviewCentSS and the amazing team and students at Game Changers. We learned about the incredible work they are doing mentoring and supporting students, and even got to sit in on a workshop for the girls' group. Thanks for having me!

The City of Toronto hosted a job fair yesterday for youth at Northwood CC in partnership with multiple organizations. It was great to see young people find resources and hiring employers. Another one like this will be held Nov 27th at Driftwood CC, from 12:30 pm to 4pm.
