Yesterday the gardening gang visited @RHSBridgewater 🪴 Gardener Charlie, met us at reception and gave us a tour around the garden. Charlie gave us hints and tips that they use on how to grow winter crops. It was a fantastic day, we all loved it 💚 @RHSSchools @The_RHS

After scoffing a mini roast chicken dinner, we chucked the bones into a pan with the peelings and ‘boiled up a broth’, which made the most comforting chicken soup 🥣 Our next Winter Warmer is 1st March 4-7pm 🍜 Funded by @TamesideCouncil’s Winter Pressure Fund

Practising our twitching skills at Reddish Vale today, ready for the @Natures_Voice #BigGardenBirdWatch Lots of ducks & geese, but it was the garden birds we were there for. We spotted coal & blue tits, nuthatches, a wren, robins, blackbirds, magpies and a flock of parakeets !!!

Miyah’s nearly at the end of her student placement from @ashtonsixthform Today she led the ‘round robin’ and has grown so much in confidence; this was something that in her own words would have ‘given her a heart attack’, when she first started. Brilliant work Miyah, keep it up!
