🚨 HERE IS MY 6 POTENTIAL REASONS WHY 80% OF UBER EATS & CHECKERS 60/60 DRIVERS ARE FOREIGNERS 👀 1.Many foreign nationals are willing to take up humble, tough jobs because back home things are worse war, poverty, survival mode… so this is opportunity, not embarrassment for them. 2. Some don’t have full documentation, so big corporates won’t touch them… but delivery apps? As long as the system works, they’re in. 3. These companies see them as reliable, they don’t clock in with attitude, they grind long hours and don’t disappear after payday unlike some South Africans😭 4. Let’s be honest… many locals see these jobs as "temporary" or "not worth it" , while someone else sees it as a full-time hustle to feed a family. Perspective is doing push-ups here. 5. The hustle culture difference is real, rain, cold, 10pm deliveries, township routes… they’re outside like it’s a World Cup final 😭 6. Network effect, once a few get in, they bring their brothers, cousins, WhatsApp groups, "come to JOZI just get a passport, there's no boarders"😭 and suddenly it’s a full community inside the app. At the end of the day… the apps don’t even care about nationality, they care about who shows up, delivers, and stays consistent. It’s less about "who they are" and more about "who is willing to do the work." Add your reasons👇🏾

Video: “If you’re not a South African citizen, please stand up and leave our hospital now.” — Xenophobic South Africans storm hospital telling foreigners on admission to leave, cos’ they’re enjoying too much 🇿🇦government benefit and it is not allowed.

Fellow South Africans, We did not walk alone into freedom. We were carried by a tide of solidarity from the nations of Africa, among many others. x.com/i/broadcasts/1…
