Frodo leaving the Shire is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking endings in all of literature. He won. The Ring was destroyed. The Shire was saved. And he couldn't stay. Not because he didn't want to. But because the journey cost him more than anyone around him could see. He carried the weight of the world's evil on his body and soul, and even though the Ring was gone, the scars weren't. That's Tolkien writing the truest thing he ever wrote: some suffering in this life cannot be healed in this life. There are wounds - spiritual, physical, emotional - that only eternity can restore. Frodo’s departure isn’t a sad ending, it’s the hope of heaven for someone who gave everything and was broken by it. It's about the promise that what was broken will be made whole. Just not here. And not yet.

France repatriated its gold reserves held at the NY Fed by "selling" those gold reserves, and rebuying compliant bars in Paris on the open market. This is NOT how repatriation typically works. It likely confirms what we stated 10 years ago on SilverDoctors. Global gold reserves held at the NY Fed have been rehypothecated. How does one get their gold reserves back from the NY Fed if they've been rehypothecated 100 fold? Ask for the cash, then repurchase the physical gold bullion in your own jurisdiction (Paris). The NY Fed can simply print the amount necessary to satisfy the gold "sale" request, and the underlying gold held in the Fed's vaults can remain rehypothecated 100 fold supporting the banking system. The problem for the Fed & the bullion banksters is that France REPURCHASED those 129 tons of gold on the open market. Which effectively removes 10,000 + tons from the derivatives system. The most egregious charging decision is against 51-year-old Willie Hill, Jr., who fatally shot a man who opened fire at him back in early February. Prosecutors aren't charging him for the homicide. They admit the evidence corroborates Hill's self-defense claim and agree his actions appear to be justified. Instead, they're charging him with criminal possession of a firearm (basically, having an unregistered gun) and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (basically, having a loaded gun in public without a carry license). The former is a Class E felony for which Hill faces up to 4 years in prison. The latter? A more serious Class C "violent" felony for which he faces a mandatory minimum of 3.5 years in prison (up to 15 years max). It doesn't appear that Hill was a prohibited person.
