Working in Jordan since 2016 to address the biggest inequalities and violations of children’s rights.

Repeated attacks on schools and healthcare facilities are clear violations of International Humanitarian Law. We call for accountability and an immediate end to attacks on civilians, shelters, and lifesaving infrastructure.

This was an attack on a place of shelter for children. This was an attack on a medical post, a desperately needed place of life-saving care.

Attacks this week on Gaza City hit Jaffa School and the emergency medical post of our humanitarian partner @Juzoor. The reports of civilians being killed, including children, are horrifying.

We are deeply saddened that a Al Rafi Health Center, run by our partner Juzoor in Jabalia, was destroyed in an airstrike in Gaza early this morning.

Thankfully all staff are safe but the centre, which served over 1,000 patients daily and provided children with lifesaving medical care, is severely damaged. Despite this, Juzoor are looking to continue services and have already begun relocating resources.

Health facilities should never be a target in conflict, there must be accountability for attacks against health facilities. Once again, we call for all parties to respect International Humanitarian Law and for a lasting ceasefire. #Gaza

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh (@RoyalFamily) met young advocates at #CSW69, to hear about the challenges girls face due to conflict, climate change, and child marriage. Let's push for gender equality and act on these powerful stories! 💪 bit.ly/4ilwikT
