i would love for the movie to be some sort of non-euclidean, house of leaves madness concept, but kane literally put a monster in the original miniseries

gonna go against the grain here and say that the backrooms concept is not scary if there's not a monster. being stuck in strange liminal locations is not creepy, you do it every time you go to a hotel

As somebody who doesn’t think “The Super Mario Bros. Galaxy Movie” is the worst film of the year to date, it is absolutely reasonable to situate it in the context of larger cultural and economic trends that are putting the industry and the culture into decline.
