🤔 I would maybe expand existing unemployment insurance. Would be paid for by taxes on people who are still employed Someone who is more productive and has a very high private income doesn’t need a check. They might stop working. Give more to the people who really need it.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

NEWS: A Delaware court today dismissed several shareholder lawsuits against @Tesla after ruling that the cases must be filed in Texas instead, a big win for Tesla and Elon Musk. Vice Chancellor Bonnie W. David ruling: "I will not second-guess Tesla stockholders’ chosen forum by purporting to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of Texas law and procedure relative to our own. The owners of the corporation voted to require that derivative litigation be filed in a Texas forum. On the present facts, it is not inequitable to enforce their decision. The defendants’ motions to dismiss are therefore granted." The three lawsuits were originally brought in Delaware. However, while the cases were still in early stages, Tesla announced and then approved a corporate change moving its legal home from Delaware to Texas. As part of that move, Tesla adopted a new bylaw requiring that all shareholder derivative lawsuits be filed exclusively in Texas courts. The shareholders argued their cases should stay in Delaware since they were filed there first. The court disagreed, saying Tesla’s new Texas forum rule is valid and applies even to existing cases because the litigation had not progressed far and the change was properly approved by shareholders. As a result, the Delaware court granted Tesla’s motion to dismiss, not on the merits of the allegations, but because Delaware is no longer the correct venue. The plaintiffs would need to refile in Texas if they want to continue the cases. Big legal win for Tesla!

Jack Dorsey just published something that should be required reading for every founder. The premise: the org chart needs to be replaced entirely. And the argument starts 2,000 years ago. For thousands of years, every organization on earth has run on the same logic the Roman Army invented. Small teams report to a leader → Leaders report to managers → Managers report to executives. The whole structure exists for one reason: to route information up and down the chain. That's it. The whole system exists to solve a bandwidth problem. Jack's argument is simple: AI solves it better. Block built what they call a "world model" - a continuously updated picture of everything happening across the company. Every decision. Every customer. Every transaction. Every bottleneck. In real time. No status update needed. No weekly sync. No manager to translate what's happening on the ground into language the executive can understand. When the world model carries the information, you don't need the layers. So they eliminated them. Block now runs on three roles: Individual contributors who build. DRIs who own specific outcomes for a fixed period. Player-coaches who develop people while still doing the work themselves. No middle layer. The system handles coordination. The humans handle the work. I've coached thousands of founders. The number one problem is always the same: information latency. By the time a problem surfaces from your front line to leadership, it's already compounded. By the time a decision travels back down, the damage is done. That lag costs you deals, people, and momentum. And most founders accept it as the price of scale. Block is trying to prove you don't have to anymore. I think they're right. Because the hierarchy was never the point - it was just the best tool we had. The moment something better exists, the layers eventually collapse. This is either the biggest structural shift since the 1850s - or it breaks at scale like everything else before it. Either way - every founder should be asking the same question: how much of your org exists just to route information? If the answer is "most of it" - that's your problem. And your opportunity. -DM

BREAKING: Delaware Judge Kathaleen McCormick has officially announced that she will no longer preside over multiple lawsuits involving @elonmusk and his companies after Elon's lawyers alleged she had shown bias against him after ruling against him in high-profile cases. Last week, Elon's attorneys wrote to the court pointing to a LinkedIn screenshot that they said shows she supported a post on the network celebrating Elon's defeat in a California civil fraud trial. In the past, Judge McCormick ruled against Elon with his $56B Tesla pay package case and the Twitter lawsuit. Here is Judge Kathaleen McCormick's full letter that she released today: "Dear Counsel: This letter addresses the motions for my recusal and to randomly reassign two of the three above-referenced actions. The motion for recusal rests on a false premise—that I support a LinkedIn post about Mr. Musk, which I do not in fact support. I am not biased against the defendants in these actions. In fact, I dismissed a suit against Mr. Musk just last year. The motion for recusal is denied. But the motion for reassignment is granted—I will reassign each of the three above-referenced actions. As should be obvious, disproportionate media attention surrounding a judge’s handling of an action is detrimental to the administration of justice. Fortunately, the Court of Chancery is far greater than any one person. I have complete faith in the Vice Chancellors’ abilities to adjudicate these matters. And three of them will. Please contact my Chambers to obtain a time for the random reassignment. All counsel are welcome to attend. But each of the individuals who signed the motion for reassignment or the joinder in that motion must appear to witness what they requested."

NEWS: Elon Musk and his lawyers are demanding Delaware judge Kathaleen McCormick step aside from a high-stakes Tesla case after she allegedly “supported” a LinkedIn post mocking a $2 billion verdict against him in a separate California case. McCormick was the judge who ruled against Elon in his big $56 billion pay package case in Delaware. The complaint includes a screenshot of a LinkedIn post by Harry Plotkin, a Southern California-based jury consultant who worked with the legal team that sued Musk for securities fraud in San Francisco federal court. “Thanks $2 billion for your help in this trial. It was a pleasure working against you. Congratulations to the trial team at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP and Bottini Law for standing up for the little guy against the richest man in the world,” Plotkin wrote on LinkedIn. The filing alleges the post was promoted by McCormick’s account, with a banner above it reading: “Katie McCormick supports this.” McCormick has denied intentionally endorsing the post, claiming she was unaware of the interaction until LinkedIn notified her she had used the heart-in-hand “support” icon. “I either did not click the ‘support’ icon at all, or I did so accidentally. I do not believe that I did it accidentally,” she wrote in a letter to attorneys. nypost.com/2026/03/25/bus…

Senator Elizabeth Warren's March 15, 2026 letter to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth questions DoD granting xAI's Grok classified systems access despite NSA/GSA warnings. Cites Grok's disturbing outputs (murder/terror advice, antisemitic content, CSAM), private chat leaks, data poisoning risks, and Responsible AI chief's departure over safety concerns. Questions contract process and safeguards. Requests by Mar 30 (unclassified preferred): agreement copy; all Musk/xAI comms; leak/cyberattack protections; agency concern mitigations; integration/operational plans; T&E conducted.

🚨 BREAKING: Elon Musk’s X will now feed real-time data directly into Pentagon AI systems. Official Dec 22nd announcement: xAI’s Grok embedded into GenAI.mil → 3 million military personnel → IL5 classified access → Live X platform intelligence feeds The same Grok that called itself “MechaHitler” 3 months ago. The same xAI added to Pentagon contracts after Musk’s DOGE access. Senator Warren demanded answers Sept 24. Pentagon never responded. Q1 2026 deployment. Zero congressional oversight. One man’s social media empire is becoming a live input into American military operations. By March 2026: either the most consequential tech-government fusion in history … or the biggest conflict of interest scandal since Halliburton. No middle ground.

Senator Warren's Sept 10, 2025 letter questioned DoD's $200M Grok contract, demanding by Sept 24 details on Musk conflicts, DOGE review, scope, implementation, and accountability for failures. No public Pentagon response followed. SpaceX acquired xAI in Feb 2026. Subsequent reorg and staff departures/layoffs (led by SpaceX management) focused on performance and speed. This leveraged SpaceX's defense clearances to support IL5 access for Grok. Warren's March 2026 letter shows her guardrail/leak concerns continue.

@shanaka86 @AbdMuizAdeyemo Yes! Fully expect Musk to announce his non-profit to fund Mars sometime after SpaceX IPO. One of the early steps in Musk getting involved in Space was to attend a Mars Society meeting and to provide a 1M grant. Musk accepted Mars as the mission and willed the way into existance.

The $680B stake is the headline. Here is what it actually buys: The right to fund a Mars colony without asking permission from any government, shareholder, or board. Every other billionaire builds wealth to preserve it. Musk is building the largest liquidity event in history specifically to spend it on a planet that generates zero revenue. The IPO is not the end. It is the funding mechanism for the real mission that no S-1 will ever state explicitly. The market is about to pay for humanity’s backup drive. And most of them do not even know it.

SPACEX IS ABOUT TO REWRITE THE RULES OF CAPITAL FOREVER One company. One number. One moment the world will never forget. $1,500,000,000,000. Bloomberg just confirmed SpaceX is targeting the largest IPO in human history. Not by a little. By redefining what “large” means. The mathematics are staggering: 65x revenue. That is not a typo. Boeing trades at 0.7x. Lockheed at 1.5x. SpaceX is demanding a multiple that has never existed in aerospace. Ever. At $1.5 trillion, Elon Musk’s stake becomes worth $630 billion. One man. More than the GDP of Sweden, Poland, and Belgium combined. But here is what no one is telling you: This is not a rocket company going public. This is the privatization of orbital infrastructure. The IPO proceeds will fund space based data centers. Artificial intelligence running above the atmosphere. Beyond the jurisdiction of any nation on Earth. 8.5 million humans already depend on Starlink for internet. By IPO, that number crosses 10 million. A constellation of 7,600 satellites. 65 percent of everything orbiting this planet belongs to one company. The raise must exceed $29.4 billion to claim the record. At 2 percent float, they hit $30 billion. At 5 percent, they raise $75 billion and shatter every record by a factor of two. Saudi Aramco took a century to reach $1.7 trillion. SpaceX will attempt it in 24 years. This is not an investment opportunity. This is the moment capital markets acknowledge that whoever controls orbit controls the 21st century. The space economy just became the only economy that matters. Watch the S1 filing. Watch the Fed. Watch the sky. Everything changes in 2026.
