@Squirrellybear @AliEldrazi This. I saw where someone was buying into magic for the first time and was trying to figure out the best way to learn. They were also intimidated about the rhetoric surrounding one of their favorite IPs which had brought them into the game. So much toxicity. Magic is booming tho.

@AliEldrazi Totally ok for you. Not everything is for everyone. I have a guy who has bought magic cards from me for 7 years now. He usually buys a commander deck(or 2) and a play/set/draft box. He bought 4 collector booster boxes, 4 bundles, and 2 commander decks for TMNT. He is excited.

I don’t think I’ve been less excited for a Magic set than I have been for the teenage mutant ninja turtles set. I don’t like the style, the art, or the cards. I miss Magic planes and lore a lot.

@1ionyx @CharlieChitty I’ve seen no band list games where prime time just absolutely warps the games. It can be blinked, reanimated, copied and cloned. It can be tutored to the battlefield, given haste for 4 lands, panharmonicon for double triggers. The games always become about this card.

@CharlieChitty People are able to do this with Scapeshift do 2 less mana. Why should prime time be banned if this isn’t? Format seems fine with this card legal in casual games right?

So if we are discussing potential unbans for Commander, I would like to make a request…

I just understand that, firstly, stating it to randoms on social media is pointless. 2nd I responded to someone who was making a comment about something directly mentioned in the article. The article itself is the results not a survey.

@Poktrd @Aghi_1 @GavinVerhey There is a majority on the issue as per their results. Also in analytics the neutral votes go with the majority. So that puts it as a 63% vote to change the rule. They needed to be more bold and make changes. If it doesn't work well and breaks things then revert it back.
