Imagine if the original, 1960s plan of the Civic Square in #HamOnt had gone through. While not demolishing the pre-existing urban environment would have been best, the Civic Square would have been very much preferred to what became Jackson Square.
This strikes me as a glimpse.

It always amazes me how we just can't trust drivers at intersections like King & Dundurn.
While pushing my kid across in a stroller on the south side on our way to Fortinos, I quickly crouch to grab his dropped mitt. 1/3

Also, those natural, defensive, gut parenting instincts are wild, literally. In that moment, I felt like I'd have no problem taking on the role of the bear in a reenactment of The Revnant bear-maul scene, and tear him limb from limb.

So much untapped value for the city in this building. Not just as golf clubhouse, but as an outdoor rec centre, restaurant, wedding and event venue with views overlooking the city.
