Alright, time to share my interpretation of CSM as a whole now that its over This’ll be long but i havent seen anyone else interpret it this way so here we go

Este fue el inicio de la caída de Denji, siempre sentí una gran lastima en toda la escena, verlo escapar de la realidad tratando de aferrarse a una identidad y una idea que lo acabaría destruyendo, te hace ver que aunque no te guste lo que Fujimoto hizo, si que lo tenia planeado.

🔥⛓️Peace, War, Fire⛓️🔥 One plot thread from CSM Part 2 I see people still mulling over is Fire Devil telling Denji he has to pick between two choices again. No further elaboration. However, we’re shown what that dilemma exactly is, what the choices are and the moment Denji made his decision. Right after Fire warns Denji about his incoming dilemma, Falling drops a building that has Yoru pinned down. After Denji asks Yoru about their sex pact, a building collapses behind them. That signified Denji making his choice. Yoru was the dilemma. Fire Devil wanted Denji to choose between eating Yoru, erasing War as a concept or keeping her alive for his own happiness. Fire wanted Denji to choose erasing War. Why? Because Fire wanted harmony between devils and humans, after being raised by the twins. The story literally tells us that mankind is at war with devils. Eating Yoru would’ve also stopped the warring nations and America’s nuke rampage that was evidently going on for days. Killing Yoru was simply the right answer to saving the world. But Denji being on his bullshit, refusing to kill those who like him, didn’t wanna get rid of Asa or Yoru. (From his POV, having to separate and pick between the two of them was the dilemma) Instead, he spent the entirety of the Denji-Man transformation running away from dealing with Yoru head on, hoping she’d concede and relinquish Asa without him having to fight. Ultimately, he once again put his dreams before someone else and chose Yoru. He chose wrong. And at that moment, everything catches up to him. He fucked up. The world ends. And Pochita, not letting the world end or a random devil get an insane power boost munching on him, decides to cut Denji off cold turkey. Painfully ironic that Denji insisted Asa & Yoru could be friends since he’s befriended devils, yet that insistence and his inability to sacrifice his dream deprived a reality where that was possible for everyone else. Bucky’s continued presence in the new world implies more devils and humans still have a chance at hitting it off tho!

#csm232 I love that the moment we initially viewed as Denji's climactic self-actualization gets recontextualized as the nail in the coffin for him--intrinsically tying his identity to Chainsaw Man. His actual moment of self-actualization is only made aware to us at the end.

See, I don’t think the timeline reset erases those bonds so much as it GUARANTEES they’ll still happen, this time without tragedy. They only happened in the first place cuz of Denji, not Pochita! We see he’s already calling Power “Powy” which only started happening once they began bonding. If their seniors are Aki and Himeno, then shaking em down for money is inline with the dynamic Aki once had with them. We can assume Kishibe still mentored them. Asa’s the one who reminds Denji he has a heart (which is why he’s so dead inside until this moment) instead of Makima. If they ever cross paths again they can actually develop a fulfilling relationship. How long will it be until Nayuta realizes she might wanna give multiplayer games a shot with Denji and Power? How long until Denji starts bringing her sweets after hunts just cuz he knows she’d like them? I dunno, but it feels set in stone in this future. The found family aspect of CSM wasn’t taken away. It was reinforced. The journey there was just sloppy.

Así que use todo el combustible que me dio el final para volver a dibujar, una vez más, tal vez no sea perfecto, pero es algo que queria hacer, algo para retribuir todo lo que me ha dado esta historia. De corazón, gracias Fujimoto.

He estado pensando en algo que decir sobre el capitulo pero sinceramente no podría agregar mucho, cuanto más lo pienso más me gusta, sonará algo raro pero honestamente este capitulo me curo el alma.

Chainsaw Man Part 2’s ending is (though rushed) the finalization of the series’ themes of shonen and heroism. Without Pochita, the world and Denji are better off in the end. Asa is no longer ostracized, Nayuta isn’t like Makima, and Denji is freed from the curse of Chainsaw Man.

@achanoyumi Literalmente esperaba todos menos esto, pero dentro del caos en el que se metio y los temas que quedarón en nada, nos dió algo dentro de tanta miseria: un nueva oportunidad para Denji, un nuevo mundo Desde luego nunca pensé que sería así, pero la verdad no me disgustó

No me puedo creer esto, Fujimoto se tropezó con 17 piedras, hizo un backflip, cayó de un tercer piso ... Pero cayó de pie (?) Al final Denji sí creó su propio mundo. Vaya fumada, no sé si me gusta o no me gusta, pero sin duda es el final más Chainsaw Man de todos los tiempos

Me gustó el final de Chainsaw Man...
