Seattle has/had some elite logos for their pro sports teams.

On this day in 1989, Ken Griffey Jr. and Omar Vizquel each made their MLB debut for the Seattle Mariners. Griffey was 1-3 with a double and Vizquel was 0-3.

Nothing says, “Get that weak shit out of here” like George Brett in powder blues.

@PowderBaseball Could make the same statement for the Big A for the Angels when Rams moved in 1980 and by adding more seats ruined the ambiance forever sure baseball crowds for post season were over 50,000 yet better ballpark before Rams

@PowderBaseball The Coliseum was built for football beginning in 1966. The Kansas City Athletics moved into the Coliseum in 1968 when they relocated to Oakland. That's why you have the massive foul territory. The foul territory is used for football seating.
