For many kids, their teacher is the most consistent non-family adult in their life. Same classroom. Same expectations. Same person. Kids don’t just need that. They want it. Research shows that consistency and predictability support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and improve focus and learning. Knowing what to expect and who will be there brings comfort. That comfort matters. And teachers provide it every day.

The research shows that your attitude helps create a self fulfilling prophecy. Because optimists believe in a positive future they actually work more to make it possible. They believe and thus are willing to take actions to achieve.
