@StellaNoxEclair I honestly don't think it's that much of a different take after you get used to it, but this is really a game where Capcom really struggled to justify the game needing a remake, Resident Evil 4 Remix is probably a better name for it because that's what it feels like

The part I genuinely like a lot is that it's a different take, 2005 RE4 is an arcadey action game, this remake seems like it's going for "Third Person Immersive Experience" And yeah I doubt I'll enjoy it as much, but it's good that they pretty much picked a different genre

@lunanovaa_ Pixar themselves worked with Nomura on this and it is canon to Toy Story. It was one of the hardest worlds to work on since they wanted everything to belong to the canon so even minor details had to be approved by Pixar

@maximilian_ Did they really go bankrupt again after KOF XII and XIII? Everyone always says that but I can't find proof. Sure they were in a bad spot financially but the company doesn't seem to have dissolved or anything like that, moreso they retreated to pachinko until coming back in 2016.

One of my favorite cheats ever in 2D game animation is KOF12/13 kofaniv.snk-corp.co.jp/english/info/1… Making a large roster, HD, 2D fighting game would break the bank. They created a cheat to keep on model, by keyposing 3D models and spriting over them. Otherwise, making that many frames of animation would sink the company. AND IT STILL put them in bankruptcy.
