@OSUHoopsInsider Even out of position he was incredibly valuable to OSU. Will be hard to get that production from a portal or true freshman regardless of how talented he is. Today, OSU is significantly worse than they were two weeks ago and will need to finally hit big in the portal IMO

My perspective: talent evaluation needs to be sharper this offseason. Diebler can recruit, but the staff has to be more precise in identifying the right pieces. A tournament appearance is in the books, and expectations have risen. Now it’s about locking in the core, adding the right “dawgs,” and delivering in March.

You either want Ohio State fans to be invested in the BB program or not. The program is fighting and clawing for any attention from fans. Talking shit about when any fan decides to tune is not it. Put a better, more consistent product on the court FANS will tune in earlier.
