@naturerecordist @ProfWolek Yes, been wanting to check out Bluesky but needed an invite (which I have now). I was being vague because I’ve heard that Twitter’s feed algorithm is suppressing references. Don’t know how true that is.

Bummed that I missed this. I just assumed they would be landing in the Gulf again, but instead they passed over our house!
My wife says she heard the sonic boom around 12:15. I'll have to pay more attention to landing details.

Just finished "Listening in the Field". Joeri Bruyninckx traces the evolution of recording technology along side the study of #birdsong. The #spectrogram chapter alone was worth my time. The cool cover is a bonus (described in Alt Text). #FieldRecording
