Ngons for making fluff and tufts of hair sticking out make for a wonderful combo. The slight unevenness is mostly because I haven't smoothed out the edges entirely but also.. ...it's such a minor detail that will hardly be visible after retexturing.

@kushirosea as a novice who still learning the basics of modeling, my opinion we should focus on not just the design, but the value and purpose of what we make, especially in the current time where our hard work is easily stolen by people who just exploit creatives for a quick cash.

Recently I am thinking one question. What is the direction of 3d softwares and the 3d industry heading to ? Beautiful graphics ? (nvidia focus on making AI chips and DLSS) Real time ray tracing ? (it is already achieved) 3D gaussian splatting ? (it don't need artists) May be, it is like drawing. We will focus on the design again, not the technology. I have a feeling that the technology side (new 3d tech) will slow down. Let say we have all the tools and blender 10.0, what are we actually wanting to do.
