Unai always thanks the supporters first. I spoke to an Aston Villa fan recently. I asked if they were bothered that Unai Emery does not come to clap them off. He told me they don’t care, because Emery acknowledges them in all his pressers. It’s not his style to walk around the pitch, and they’re okay with that.
