Hey! I forgot to tell you that I’m 18 days sober now! 💪🔥 It’s a bit late in the day for me, usually I do this first thing, but I was focused on my work the second I woke up today. I made whipped feta with craisins, from scratch today. On top of that, I made chicken salad with green grapes and pecans, from scratch. I work in a kitchen, so when I say I made these things? I’m talking EIGHT LBS of feta. TEN LBS of chicken salad. Eat your heart out 🤤 I got home today with some sun left so we took the cats out… gosh they are so cute. And to top it all off- probably the highlight of my day- I’m so psyched guys 🤪🤪🤪 My new marker set! (Pics in the 🧵) The ones I’ve been using are from 2020 when I was locked down. Markers aren’t really supposed to last that long so I’m thankful for every single coloring I’ve gotten out of them thus far. 🙏 my coloring today though, I used colored pencils because I had to throw away so many markers out of my set. I started it on Memorial Day while watching Band of Brothers. Colored pencils are not my favorite medium because I press too hard. Makes it stressful to color, which I don’t like. But I took my time, and I paid attention to how hard I was pressing and where, with each individual color. It’s wonderful if I do say so myself. I probably won’t use them anytime again soon though. 😓 This is a transformation for me, I’m learning that being good to myself can be rewarding in the smallest of ways. Love yourself today. Be your own number one. ☝️

Sober two days today. Oh my gosh. I can’t even begin to express how blessed I am feeling today. I posted yesterday how I relapsed two days ago, and expressed two things. One; that I was disappointed with myself. And Two; that with God’s Good Grace I’m trying again. You all came out in DROVES to tell me that God is forgiving, loving, and that even though we were made in his image, we humans are far from perfect. You gave me encouraging quotes, bible verses, really great advice and most importantly, love. You told me to love myself, to forgive myself, to dust myself off and try again. You all pushed me to be a better person, and today, I already am. But my journey is far from over. So thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. But the work is there to be done, and I will persevere with the full armor of God. God bless all you beautiful souls. 🙏 🕊️ 💚
