And this is Katie...she worked the magic of that front cover. It was her first one and she told me it is one her proudest pieces of work. I love it. I'm sure she'd love to do more book covers. I know I'll get her to do my next one. #JourneyForHappiness

Superb time in Coventry reconnecting, in particular friends Anna & Mark of @PyramidCycling, who gave my book serious momentum. Here is us (plus other old friends) out on a ride... cycling the lands where I first got into cycling. Magic to think of all that I was & then became...

Today I'm in Coventry, where I lived during my PhD. Some reminiscing but hanging with old cycling friends who helped with the book (cover designer & Big Sponsors @PyramidCycling). I didn't cycle at all before my time in Coventry. They literally taught me to cycle. Legends.

Had a shocker of a race at the weekend, but always love getting @CureLeukaemia out there in the sun. The work they do is amazing and worth every penny. If you can please support @TheTour21 as they enter the final week of @letour and close in on £1,000,000 raised. #cycling #cancer

Back from a brilliant time cycling in France & back at the grindstone this morning! We've reopened the webshop with the wax, track rings & a number of 1x and double outer chainrings. A batch of 56 & 58T 1x chainrings will arrive this week & we expect the rest later in June.

We're away riding our bikes in France, and big sis Lynn is also away on holiday, so we've taken the shop offline for a few days. We'll let you know when it's back online. Should be some time next week. Thank you for your patience 🙏 #WhereIRide #SouthofFrance #CyclingLife

@RSH2468 We recommend using a water based degreaser to remove the old wax. Alternatively boiling water and washing up liquid will work.

A bit of chain waxing. Step 1: clean with hot water & degreaser in the ultrasonic bath. Pic 2 is the residue from a chain hard waxed with #VeloCireSolid six months ago & since then wiped down & topped up with #VeloCirePaste after every ride. Just a bit of mud in the water.

Chain waxing step 2 : melt #VeloCireSolid in your slow cooker & add the clean degreased chain to the molten wax. Cook for at least 10 minutes 😁 Carefully remove from the wax and hang up to dry and cool.

@RSH2468 It's a good idea, even with a waxed chain, to periodically degrease and rewax it, to ensure the wax coating remains effective.

@PyramidCycling Why use degreaser on a previously degreased, waxed chain? Where’s the grease you’re trying to remove coming from?

Pic 3, astonishingly, is from a chain that has been ridden THREE times in total, with the coating it came with from the factory topped up with Squirt chain lube before each ride 😱😬
