Real, authentic — even “boring” — posts from the people and networks I actually care about 3. No spam, bad bots, or reply farming As an X employee who uses it every day, I believe we’re actively building toward exactly this. Does this match what you want when you open X?

@QXsToo @X There is a trade-off that X has to make between user retention and content quality. You can't have quality by chasing dopamine. And you will lose some users by interfering with the timeline more proactively. But the right thing is always hard.

@QXsToo @X The algorithm favors content that farms replies and/or rage. Game-able. A silly question like "is water blue or colorless?" will get 1000s of replies and millions of views. True human signals are likes and reposts. The AI, in its considered wisdom, ignores or down-weights those.

@QXsToo @X Yes, agreed. But genuine human content is being judged by the algorithm on 0-2 impressions before any human decides whether they like it or not. That isn't building toward your vision. It's filtering it.

I mean not every post is gonna hit, so id even add a few bad posts here and there but just skip em. If every post was perfectly tailored then the standard would be too high. Eventually it will learn your emotions too well into an upwards spiral of dopamine spikes playing you like a slot machine. I agree with you on all the points.

@QXsToo @X The list is right but the order is wrong. Fix number 3 first and numbers 1 and 2 take care of themselves. Spam and bot replies are the reason authentic human posts feel invisible. The content quality problem is downstream of the trust problem.

@QXsToo @X yes that matches & think you guys have been doing gud job iterating/improving both timelines worst part of the app currently is reply section...it feels like 90% bots used to be one of the best features if you can apply same bot/spam filters from timeline to reply section 🙏

Money ROI is limited. The mental ROI from learning English, Chinese, and Japanese is a solid choice. I speak three languages—English, Chinese, and Japanese—reading and watching content from all sources and communicating with people worldwide in these languages. These are enough for me to see that humans are fundamentally the same, yet the world remains deeply divided. Much nonsense, stupidity, and even war happens simply because people don’t understand other languages enough and remain trapped in info echo chambers.

I truly believe @X is a genuine blue-ocean opportunity for creators right now. Missing the chance to experiment and build contents and communiies here would be a big mistake. Thanks for the feedback and criticism—I disagree on much of it, but yes, there's still too much low-quality content, spam, and bots in certain non-english languages like Chinese. Rest assured, we're actively fixing these issues with real improvements in progress. 真心认为 @X 目前是创作者的真正蓝海机会。 现在不抓紧实验和在这里创建内容和粉丝，将是错失良机。 感谢反馈和批评——我很多地方不同意，但确实，一些非英语语言如中文仍有太多低质内容、spam 和机器人。我们正在积极解决这些问题，具体改进已在进行中。

如果你是优质内容创作者，你唯一的选择是YouTube，而不是X，这两个应用的设计就决定了定位。 X不适合优质创作者，因为他缺乏SEO，分类，搜索，常青推送。 用大白话说就是，你在YouTube创作几年，你可以吃一辈子，比如李子七创作的东西，他不创作了，还能源源不断吃利息，而X无论你是大V还是小V，本质上都是老🐴的牛马，奴隶，一辈子都要被算法驱使，给他打工，要不然，你的红利和流量就断了，你压根不可能在X上休息一个星期。休息几天，算法就把你遗忘了。无论你多牛逼，他都不在乎你。 YouTube上前几天有一个消息，某人在前几年就上传了一个音乐视频，炉火旁的音乐，他就一个视频一直红利收入到现在，而X上面，你压根就不想做这种好事。永远都不可能躺平，你要有收入，就只能不断创作，但是人的精力和欲望是有限，你被榨干以后怎么办？ 对于X来说，一直都是垃圾集中营，每个人一旦内心的血和肉贡献完毕，残留的就只有大肠里面那点屎尿屁，大量的排泄物堆积在X上面，这是一个腐臭恶心的垃圾场。 我们不断吃着别人拉出来的产品，自己又很高兴的加工拉出来供给别人吃，还吃得不亦乐乎。 对于我来说，我是不在乎算法的，我会不断搞垃圾给他，随他玩吧，本质上，我也是吃别人垃圾长大的，你让我回馈你琼浆玉液。我TM做不到。我这种吃狗屎长大的货色，无法做到高大上，我只能回馈你，我拉出来屎尿屁，带着辣。
