I have been informed by NBC that I won’t be back with FNIA this fall and it has given me time to reflect and also to look ahead.    It’s disappointing  news but I want to thank my NBC family for making the last 17 years so special.  I’ll have lasting memories of my time there, especially with Rodney Harrison who has become a tremendous friend.   God has always directed me in these moments and while I’m not sure what the next step will be for me—whether it will be in football, in broadcasting, or getting more involved in church and community outreach —I know God has plans for my life and I can’t wait see them unfold. And I am reminded of one of my favorite verses in the Bible-Romans 8:28. “God works all things for His good for those who love the Lord.”

@GatorsScott Joey was one of the classiest people I have ever had the privilege to meet. I was blessed to know him for close to 30 years. I met him when he covered prep sports, and he always did a top notch job in his reporting at all levels. I am so thankful that he knew Jesus as His Savior!

Joey Knight's family posted on FB that he passed away this morning. JK covered #Gators, USF, Bucs and much more in his time at the Tampa Tribune and Tampa Bay Times. He was a regular at UF pressers and games this past season amidst cancer battle. RIP to a good soul. @TBTimes_Bulls

Thankful for the opportunity to speak at the Ten-8 prayer breakfast this morning, celebrating their 40th anniversary. Keith Chapman does a fantastic job leading this first-class organization. They put Christ first in all their endeavors. We love and appreciate the Chapman family!

We were blessed with a great week of revival in Cincinnati, OH, at Fellowship Tabernacle. Pastor Todd and his people were so encouraging and ready to worship each night. We praise God for His presence in every service and the opportunity to see some lifelong friends.

The Lord blessed us with a wonderful weekend in Wolcottville, IN, with our dear friends, Billy and Peggy Fields. We praise God for the wonderful service and the time to spend with The Fields and the church family at Liberty Baptist Church.

Already at the airport early this morning to catch a flight to Indiana. Looking forward to being with one of my heroes this weekend, Bro. Billy Fields, and the folks at Liberty FWB Church. We love and appreciate him and Ms. Peggy so much!

My, how the Lord showed up last night at the Blue Ridge Campmeeting! Powerful preaching, anointed singing, and Spirit-filled praise from His people! The meeting continues tonight at 6pm. Patrick O’ Dell and Chris Rumfelt will be preaching and the Rumfelt Family will be singing.🙌🏻

The Lord blessed us with a wonderful first night at the Blue Ridge Camp meeting! We praise the Lord for honoring us with His presence, and were expecting great things tomorrow night as well!🙌🏻

Thankful for the past 3 days at FFWBC in Carthage, TN. Pastor Frank started this church in 1998 & has been a faithful shepherd for over 27 years. It was also great to see Andrew & Shelby Shirah, who lead the youth. Johnny, Debbie & Ms. Gail Saunders came to be with us as well.
