The City is actively reviewing the currently available tax breaks for film and television production companies that choose to shoot their productions in Los Santos. For too long, many movies and TV shows "set in LS" have been filmed in Canada.

@defledhead This is news to me. My office was under the impression that these were isolated incidents, not a symptom of a widespread issue.

Los Santos is always ready for members of higher office to stop by at any time. We're always on.

The City Building Code is not designed to make buildings expensive, it's designed to make them safe and keep them that way for years to come.

This month, we ordered 14 different property developers to halt construction and even in some cases DEMOLISH properties that were under construction due to the lack of proper documentation. Eight homes alone were under construction in the Hills and they all had code violations.

A reminder from the Mayor's Office: All property changes must go through the City planning board and receive approval before any development can begin. This goes for everything from apartment renovations to building homes in the Vinewood Hills.

With previous efforts still in place, the City of Los Santos is on track to reduce rent and housing prices across the city.

The holidays are over and so the City gets back to work. Plenty of things to get started on and even more to keep working on.

I want to thank the citizens of Los Santos for continuing to trust me as Mayor. This means a lot to me in order to give the people what they need.

With a successful re-election under my belt, I'm going to continue my work on reducing unnecessary city fees, taxes and regulations. I'll be visiting more small businesses across the City once things have returned to normal after the holidays.

Christmas is coming, and celebrations are going to officially be kicking off starting on the 19th.

By shopping at local businesses, you help stimulate our economy and put a focus on the community. Plus there's no waiting for shipping and having your item destroyed by a courier when it's delivered.

I'm going to be visiting local businesses across the south side of Los Santos this week. The Mayor's Office is promoting locally owned businesses selling locally made goods in an effort to encourage residents to shop locally instead of online.
