@Richard_Amm My understanding (not a lawyer) is that chairs that cap around 4 mph are fair game, but the ones that go faster are then a "vehicle" and so laws around drinking and having 3rd party insurance kick in

What is the law around drinking while operating a powered wheelchair? Apparently, I'm not even allowed outdoors at night without lights?

@stageyrebecca I'd say it's also inaccurate. It doesn't take that long to physically put a ramp down and then go up or down it. The delay is likely due to poor planning by railway staff if they're not ready to put a ramp down when the train arrives

disabled friends, how would you feel if the train announcer said the reason the train is delayed by 3 minutes is due to helping a disabled customer & “it takes time” to deploy the ramp? it feels out of pocket to me but would like others to weigh in

@MaryRegW @CAChalmers_ Immense disappointment that Walk Manager's origin story relates to legality of leafleting in the US instead of a magnet-related leaflet strategy. Perhaps "good morning" leaflets being magnetised (as depicted in the original tweet) would increase their visibility?

@CAChalmers_ Americans don't post leaflets so they had to build Walk Manager as a bolt on for us - its not a standard part of the NGPVAN product suite
