🔴🟡Members of the Lebanese Civil Defense in the Rmeish center provided first aid to a wounded resistance fighter who had arrived in Ain Ebel from Bint Jbeil, before contacting the Lebanese Red Cross in Rmeish to transfer him to the liberated area. Israeli occupation forces stationed in Dibil learned of the resistance fighter's whereabouts and demanded in a phone call to the paramedics that he be handed over, threatening to bomb the ambulance. The paramedics refused. The resistance fighter then decided to walk to Dibil to surrender himself, out of concern for the lives of the paramedics and the residents of the area, given the low-altitude flights of armed drones. Abducting a wounded soldier, or a soldier who is no longer fighting (hors de combat), is a violation of international law and a war crime.
