Fair play to Sunderland. Dead impressed with them. This is how you stay up with ease and also build towards getting into Europe in the next few years. They have taken the piss with the signings they have made. Shame we haven't shown the same ambition as them. #LUFC

@_RB_Ash As a Sunderland fan all I wanted was for our club to give it their best shot, the board have more than backed RLB it’s now up to him and the lads on the pitch to do the rest. Will we stay up, who knows but we’re not there to make up numbers. Enjoy your season.

Unfortunately no time this morning to look at Royal Ascot and with not having any antepost selections I’m going to leave today.

I never got to see the race but my final selection finished 7th in the Buckingham Palace. I advised 6 places. 7 places were available with a couple firms but unfortunately me it’s a loss. 6pts played and 8pts returned on the day. Hopefully a few of you backed Trawlerman

Merchant wins and guarantees a bit of profit. Nice to see Trawlerman win and Charles Darwin. I wouldn’t tip anything odds on and I didn’t want to tip Trawlerman when I was on at much bigger odds e/w. Hopefully plenty backed him anyway. La Botte unfortunate and finishes 2nd.

I have backed Charles Darwin antepost and I’ve backed Trawlerman e/w antepost at what I thought were decent prices. Not going to tip them up at today’s prices but I hope both win.

Slightly better day with 2 winners. First Love wins the Queen Mary and My Cloud wins the Royal Hunt Cup. Bullet Point 2nd in the Hunt Cup (advised win only) nice for the selections to finish 1 and 2, 6pts played 8.75pts returned.

7.5pts played with ENFJAAR placing at 11/2 and BARNSO placing at 14/1 we return exactly 4pts for a 3.5pt loss. FIELD OF GOLD wins as expected. I don’t like advising points on horses that short. ROSALLION runs a fine race, but didn’t go our way. Hope you guys had a better day
