@mariapuddingway I noticed this with Steam a long time ago. People would have 100+ "friends" and ask for more friends, but like only 3 or so they'd actually play TF2 or whatever with. We went from "friend collectors" to "streamer and their followers" but really, they're just acquaintances.

Im gonna be a villian for a moment. You can have a lot of friends if you change your perception away from a friend being someone you endlessly hang out with. In fact, I think the vtubing space has a pretty unhealthy idea of what friendship is.
